• Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The DP04 offers 10 speeds of airflow to select from. At max speed, the noise level will top off at 42.3 dBa. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

• If u have it on its highest setting, u can hear the fan. Pretty much like a standard fan. But not as loud as a box fan.
