It has a remote that magnetically attaches to the top of the unit. I only use that to control it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A very nice magnetic remote is included. It magnetically sticks to the top of the unit. This is a wonderful fan and purifier. Very easy to assemble. Haven't had to change the filter yet so I can't give info on that. Love the display of air quality that you can flip through with the remote to see the condition of your air. Does a great job in the great room/ kitchen area of our house. Keeps smells down and works great when we are using our wood stove. No smoke smell as sometimes happens when restocking the wood in the stove. Super quiet. A really good quality unit. One of my best purchases.

There is an included remote control that comes with the DP04, and it's magnetized and will store on the top of the loop of your fan.
