• If you have it on Auto, it will automatically increase the fan speeds when the air quality becomes poor.

• Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Regardless of the airflow speed level you're using the fan on, your machine is always going to be in purifier mode, and will always be detecting air pollution, when it's on. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
