“I see several reviews that have been posted complaining about the wheel(s) breaking off of the carpet cleaning head under normal use. Has Dyson done anything to correct this issue on newer models? How do I know i wont also have this issue if I buy this?”

I bought this model in October 2025, completely brand new, fresh off the warehouse, the wheels still break down even after all these years. But only on the carpet/wood brush head with laser. Not on the carpet cleaning brush head.

Please try again later.I am not sure if there has been any issue with the carpet cleaning head but of the several similar Dyson’s I have owned with the similar carpet head none have had any issues. Dyson also seems to sell many more replacement parts on their website than in the past. Also this model’s tools seem designed to have replaceable parts.
