Dyson HP01 is no different; that is, when you use it as an air purifier. As an air purifier, it’s maximum wattage is 44W. If you run it 24/7 – generally, HPo1 is turned on all the time – it will use about 1 kWh per day. And that’s if it’s at the maximum fan speed setting all the time, even during the night. Dyson HP01 is also capable of functioning as a space heater. The cooling effect of Hot+Cool is just a fan (not an air conditioner). The ‘Hot’ part, however, is a true heater. And for heating, you need some serious wattage. As a space heater, Dyson HP01 can draw as much as 1,575W. That’s 35x more than when it functions as an air purifier
