• A:Answer Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. In heat mode, the HP01 will use 1500 watts, so we do recommend plugging the machine in to its own outlet, where you do not have other high-powered appliances connected. You can set a target temperature on the unit, up to 99 degrees, and can also select from 10 airflow speeds. You may be able to heat a room in the home, or larger living space such as your living/family room, but with doors to the home it likely would not heat your entire space. • A:Answer Hello Raf, this is Kelly with Dyson. The replacement filter for the HP01 is a glass HEPA filter. The sealed HEPA filter is made from borosilicate microfibers pleated hundreds of times, to capture particles as small as allergens and virurus. Q: QuestionI just purchased the HP01 Pure Hot and Cool. Does the air purification and rotation stop when you use the heat or cooling? Currently, when I turn on the heat, it does not rotate and I am not able to control the purification levels

• A:Answer I had same issue when I swapped to heat. You need to turn the temp up til the heat actually comes on and then it will start back oscillating.

Q: Questionwhen in heat mode, I noticed that machine stops running when it hits the target temp. so it seems that in this mode when the target is hit, there is no more air purifying occurring - CORRECT? related question : when in heat mode, does the machine purify?

• A:Answer Hi Mike, this is Kelly with Dyson. When you use your HP01 in heat mode, it will go into standby mode, when your target room temperature is hit. If the room temperature falls below the target, your machine will begin to blow heated air again. Your machine it only expelling purified air when it's actively blowing out air. We test our purifiers in a room of 291 square feet and take measurements to ensure the whole room has reached a clean level before our Auto mode stops the machine running. While you could use your HP01 Pure Hot + Cool outdoors, under a covered area, with no exposure to elements for a short period of time, it's generally recommended to use this machine indoors only. • A:Answer Yes the fan can stay on all the time with the heat only turning on when the room drops below the selected temperature. The heat does not make a noticeable noise when it comes on. It does not have a rechargeable battery.
