“Can this unit be plugged into a standard AC outlet to use when battery dies since the battery life is short (only 20 minutes)?”

• Hi there, this is Tia from Dyson. With regard to the Dyson Humdinger™ vacuum, the battery charges fully in 3.5 hours, from a depleted state. It can be safely left to charge throughout the day, so it’s ready to use whenever you need it. The Humdinger™ vacuum won’t run while connected to the charger cord. • When the unit is plugged in to charge, it will not run (Charge only). Dyson does not have an AC accessory plug to run the vacuum
