Hi there, this is Tia from Dyson! You most certainly can wash the soft roller brush bars under cold, running tap water, when needed. As well, the battery features a Click-in design so additional batteries can be purchased for longer cleans. Thanks for your interest in Dyson cordless technology! And I mentioned in other answers … you really don’t runout of charge if you use like intended . I have yet to run out of charge before I empty the bins 3-4 times, usually once per room. Sounds like a lot … but due to center of gravity, and overall weight it’s very easy and fast to clean . This makes the whole “ritual” of getting ready to vacuum much less of a pain
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes! I took mine apart with ease. Hair does like to get trapped in a part that is a little hard to clean. I used scissors ✂️ to help cut them away from the edges of the roller area.
