“Is the filter on the omni glide specific for the omni glide or do other models of dyson have the same filter ,if i want to buy an additional backup filter which should i look for?”

• The filter unlocks out of the top of the unit, and states to be hand, washed under warm water (no soap) and let dry for 24 hours before reinstalling. My other Dyson vacuums filters are the same way. No need to purchase new/additional filters.
