• Yes, this is pretty much an oscillating fan and it is very quiet. Even on it’s highest setting it doesn’t make a lot of noise.

• Hello Bert, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson TP01 Pure Cool Tower is an oscillating purifier fan. It will operate in the same manner as a traditional fan, with the added benefit of air purification. At the highest air flow speed level of 10, the sound level in decibels on this unit is 62.
