Q: Questionhow many btu's of heat generate to heat up a room ? thanks

• A:Answer Hello Johnny, this is Kelly with Dyson. We don't measure our machines in terms of BTU's. While our machines do have a heating element, they're measured in watts. While in heat mode, the purpose is to provided heated, purified air in to your room. How well it heats your space would vary, depending on factors such as doors and windows, how warm the room already is, the air temperature outside, etc. Also, the TP04 Pure Cool Tower does not have a heater function, as it's only a purifier and fan. Q: QuestionCan I use a humidifier at the same time using the air purifier

The time it takes to purify the space depends on environmental factors such as layout, ventilation, etc. If you're looking to have purification in all rooms simultaneously, we highly recommend purchasing more than one machine. Q: QuestionHey Kelly from Dyson! Just to clarify an answer you gave regarding the app, but I need to be able to set a schedule so this thing turns on/off on its own. The app will allow me to create schedules? I have a Germguardian, but I always forget to turn it on.

• A:Answer Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. Yes, on the TP04 - within the Dyson Link app you can set up a run-time schedule. To set up a schedule on your machine, once the machine is connected to the App, press the timer icon in the bottom right, and from there you can select a time based on how long you want the machine to run before turning it off. Q: QuestionMy husband smokes a cigar in the garage and the smoke travels into the basement on the next level. Would I place the purifier in the garage or in the basement for it to work most efficiently?

Q: QuestionI have a Dyson TP04 Air cleaner and I changed the both filters. There are two red lines at the bottom of the filter. What are these and should they move when the fillter is changed? They are still at the bottom

• A:Answer Hello Isha, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Pure Cool Link TP04 purifier fan will clean the air in any size room. The bigger the room, the longer the machine will take to purify it as there is more air in the room. In a room of 139ft², the tower purifier fan will purify the room in 27 minutes. We test our purifiers in a room of 291 square feet and take measurements to ensure the whole room has reached a clean level before our Auto mode stops the machine running. While you would definitely notice some relief with your indoor air quality, with the outdoor air quality being so poor right now, it would take longer to reflect a healthier level of air quality in your indoor space.
