“I found out that heaters can only be used with their own outlets, but can this all in one fan, air purifier and heater be used with any extension cords, surge protectors or outlets that already have something else plugged into? I hope you're sure.”

Hi Bobbie, this is Kelly with Dyson. We do suggest that our air treatment machines are plugged into their own outlet, as they do draw a lot of power while in use. Using on outlets with other high-powered devices can cause the circuit to short out. We also do not suggest the use of a surge protector or extension cord, but rather plugging directly in to your wall outlet. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
