A:AnswerHello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Pure Cool Link and Pure Hot + Cool purifier fans will clean the air in any size room. The bigger the room, the longer the machine will take to purify it as there is more air in the atmosphere. For instance in a room of 139ft², the machine will purify the room in 25 min. The time to heat the room will be similar, but can vary based on factors such as current room temperature, the number of windows and doors and other environmental factors.
Best wishes,
Kelly

A:AnswerHello Nic, this is Kelly with Dyson. Great question about the Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Link. For safety, this appliance is fitted with automatic cut-out switches that operate if the appliance tips over or overheats. While in heating mode the appliance will also automatically switch 'OFF' after 9 hours of continuous use and will return to standby mode. I hope this helps!
Best wishes,
Kelly

A:AnswerIt’s awesome!!! Only thing is I find it trips the breaker when the heat is on past setting 5... however that simply could just mean I need to update my electrical.
A:AnswerIt will change the temp of the room when using the hot mode, but acts more like a fan on the cool setting. The room will not get cool like it would when using an air conditioner
A:AnswerIt is always purifying the air as it pulls room air through it's HEPA filter. The only reason I see to not do this would be to extend the life of the filter. It does track air quality so it might be surprising to actually see what the air quality is as it does change throughout the course of a day, week, etc.
A:AnswerHi Chris, this is Krystal with Dyson. The DYson Pure Hot + Cool Link purifier has the same specifications as the 310105-01 purifier. However, the "link" version allows you to connect the purifier to your Smartphone by using the Dyson LInk app. With the app, you can view real-time air quality both in and outside your home along with the ability to control the purifier.
