First, the filter is now magnetic, removable, and washable; it even comes with a filter-cleaning brush. And you'll know exactly when you need to clean the filter because the Supersonic Professional is constantly measuring its own performance and has airflow lights that flash when the filter needs cleaning. The concentrator attachment has been re-engineered to be wider and thinner for more precision, and it now has twice the magnetic strength as its predecessor; the same goes for the magnetic strength of the other two included attachments, a smoothing nozzle and diffuser. It even has a longer (now 11-foot) cable. Hope this helps. Great investment!
