I’m not sure why “dyson expert” is saying you can’t because I purchased another battery for this exact model and it works just fine. I had the outsize before this model and felt the outsize was too big but liked the options for additional batteries. I have tested my additional batteries on the Dyson V11 Origin (non outsize model) and they work.

The Dyson V11 Origin cord-free does not feature our swappable click-in batteries; the only V11 models that do offer that are the V11 Outsize and the V11 Outsize Origin.
