Helo GV, this is Kelly with Dyson. The inner chamber of the clear bin, or cyclone, cannot be washed with water. Water mixed with any debris or dirt on the inside of the cyclone can get stuck, and when dry, create a sludge like mud that would render the cyclone useless. The best way to clean the cyclone is to remove the clear bin from the machine, and gently tap the cyclone on the edge of a trash can to help remove debris trapped inside. You can also use a can of compressed air, or the cool shot button on a hair dryer, to help blow out anything trapped inside. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
