Hi Wendi, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V11 Outsize is very easy to assemble; our cord-free machines are modular and all the pieces will attach with just a click. As far as charging goes just make sure you put it on either the floor or a table where It can sit. It is a bit on the heavy side so make sure that where you put it is stable. It comes with two batteries and two Chargers. If you don’t have a big place I would suggest getting the Dyson V 11 Torque Drive. I don’t think the V 11 Torque drive comes with the extra battery and I’m not sure if it’s easily replaceable. I live in an 836 square-foot condo and I think I could’ve just gone for the regular V 11.
