• Battery is removable yes. You can hang it on the dock to charge if you set it up that way or just use the cord. I’d call Dyson and ask about the charge of extra batteries.

• It has a removable battery but additional batteries and chargers need to be purchased separately. A battery can be purchased for close to $200 on the Dyson website.
