The Dyson V11 Outsize will include our High Torque XL cleaner head, as well as an extra battery and 2 chargers, for up to 120 minutes of cleaning power. The Dyson V15 Detect will include Laser Slim Fluffy cleaner head for deep cleaning and offers up to 60 minutes of cleaning power. Dyson machines are sold directly on our website as well as through our Dyson Service Centers.   • QuestionDoes this work well with pet hair clean-up? What is the warranty? Dyson 10 Animal pretty much died 1 mth after the warranty. Loved it, light in weight, nice clean-up. NO helpIs there a backup battery? Ability to replace the battery? What is the life span?

    • Answer i hope you got a replacement since it was under warranty. After the warranty runs out, get a 3rd party battery as they fit exactly and you can get 25% to 50+% more run time. just look at the rating on the battery. my original V6 was 2000 mAh battery and I now have a 4000 mAh battery that gets almost double the run time at high power. (and it cost less the a new battery from Dyson)

While this machine does perform well on the majority of floor types, we're not able to test every permutation. We would recommend checking with your carpet/rug manufacturer as they may have specific guidelines for using a high powered vacuum or a rotating brush bar on your specific carpeting fibers.   • QuestionWe have lots of hardwood, some ceramic tile, and lots of carpet that is low pile. No pets. Which version would you recommend? P.S. it has to be relatively lightweight.

First, you'll have the Laser Slim Fluffy, which has a laser revealing dust/dirt on hard floors, and soft nylon and anti-static carbon fiber filaments to pick up debris. You also have the high torque cleaner head with an anti-tangle comb to pick up dust and hair from all floors. Weight wise, this machine is just about 6.8 pounds, and that weight includes the wand and floor tool. This model will also come with a variety of tools, one being the hair screw tool.
