It is very powerful and sucks up some rugs because of the better seal. So some rugs are not an issue but i have 1 rug that it doesnt work for.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Some rugs it works fine but others, not so much. This vacuum does have adjustable suction so if it is used in a lower setting it works for a wider variety of rungs.
