A:AnswerHi, this is Summer with Dyson. If you have a high pile/shaggy rug, the V15 may have too much suction power for the area rug.
Best wishes,
Summer

A:AnswerThe power cable is quite long, so you can mount it higher and drop the power cord down, or the battery is removable so you could detatch it and charge it off of the vacuum as well
A:AnswerYou do have to hold the trigger the whole time, but it is very ergonomic with how you hold it so it does not cause strain even after an hour of use.
A:AnswerHello, thank you for your question and for sharing your experience with your previous Dyson vacuum. We understand how uncomfortable it can be to use a vacuum that causes blisters on your hand. The Dyson V15 Detect Extra has been designed with user comfort in mind, featuring an ergonomic handle and improved weight distribution to reduce strain during use. While individual experiences may vary, many users have found the V15 Detect Extra to be more comfortable and easier to handle compared to older models. However, we would like to look further into this for you. For detailed information, please reach us via askdysonus@dyson.com We appreciate your support and look forward to continuing to serve you. Warm regards, Dyson Customer Support.
A:AnswerI use it on all flooring in my house, including luxury vinyl flooring. There is a special head included for hard surface floors that has a green light to better illuminate dust on the floor as you clean.
A:AnswerI just realized this but technically it’s only 8 accessories unless they are counting the charging cord and wall dock. I really don’t think those should be accessories but if so, then yes it’s 10.
