I'm sure their is, but not enough for you to notice. If your going to pay that you might as well get all the tools with it.

Hi there, this is Krystal with Dyson. Thank you for your interest in the V6 Animal. There is no difference in the amount of suction when used as a vacuum for floors vs. a handheld. The V6 Mattress does include a HEPA filter which is a post motor filter and therefore does not filter debris. Best Wishes, Krystal Dyson Customer Service
