• Nope. I think for a new battery you have to unscrew a bunch of parts. The battery works for about 26 minutes which is more than my usual needs.

• No extra battery, and there doesn't seem to be a way to change out the battery. I can vacuum about 1800 sq ft without having to recharge it, but I hardly ever use the super suction function on it.

• I dont' see a way to have an extra battery for this, you'd have to unscrew the unit and put it in.....so, I'll say no to that. You can ask Dyson, but I don't see a way that you can do it without taking it apart.
