No, they're better, but also interchangeable, and the wall mounted charger is interchangeable as well. The long skinny wand is longer but without the slack-ish button extension. The small static brush is better, it has two positions now so it doesn't cut the air flow and shut off the motor as much. BIG change is there is a hand-held beater bar that is amazing and doesn't cut off the motor at all. I had the v10 magenta one. This one is lighter and WAY better all the way around.
