Will this vacuum work on thick shag carpet??? null

It is more labor intensive on shag but works fine. Stairs with thick carpet would not be an issue at all. For floors, we put ours on low suction setting and mostly pull the unit.

This should work on a normal setting. However we do suggest reaching out to the carpet manufacture for details on any machines they suggest to avoid with their carpeting.
