• Hello Blakey, this is Kelly with Dyson. Our hand held vacuums, such as your V7 Trigger are only designed to be use as a handheld. These models are not compatible with wands and floors tools, like our full size cordless machines are. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

• Sorry, correcting my previous answer - it looks like only the DC34 will take the long tube (similar hand held unit), the Trigger will not I assume by design.

• I am not sure which Dyson you have, but as long as it is one of the modern models with the push button connector it should work. I would not put anything TOO long on it though, as due to it's size the suction is good, but obviously not as good as the larger models.
