A:AnswerDyson vacuums are different colors for different models. You can’t get the absolute V8 in any other color than what it’s offered in. For a different color you have to get a different model.

Most retailers that carry Dyson vacuums may carry replacement parts; and we also carry replacement chargers at Dyson. We don't recommend using an adaptor in conjunction with your Dyson, as Dyson machines are only intended for use in 110/120V outlets.

A:AnswerI own several of both: the latest Dyson Ball Multi Floor Bagless upright and the V8 Absolute. Each has benefits. We also recently bought a couple Robotic Vacuums. While they do not pick up to the level of either the Big Ball or the V8, we run the robots 3 days a week, and touch up with the V8. Any spills are best handled by the V8. The V8 Absolute is killer on hardwood floors with the smooth Motorhead.
We use the Big Ball about once a month now; it is simply not needed and the cord is a real pain, when the V8 is so light & cordless.
I recommend the V8, without question.
A:AnswerOn the V-8 you do have to depress the trigger the entire time. But it is a very light trigger pull and the overall weight of the entire unit is light. My 3-year old daughter easily vacuums with this thing.

A:AnswerCleaning the stairs couldn't be easier than using the V8 Absolute. It's simply amazing as I was able to clean the stairs without any issues using the smaller attachment.
We have a total of 20 steps on the stairs and this vacuum cleaned it easily.
A:AnswerV6 stays charged for only 30 minutes and is less powerfull. Example I have a dog and the V6 would not pick all of his hair up from the carpet,
but V8 does. I purchased V6 at Costco and returned it because it was not strong enough. If you don't have pets V6 would be fine but if you
have a house over 1400 Sq Ft, I think you would need a V8.
