Hello. All Eargo hearing aids last approximately 3 years. The rechargeable batteries in the hearing aids don't just stop working, instead they simply don't hold a charge for the full 16 hours as they did when new. The batteries are integrated into the complex build of the hearing aids and are not replaceable. In comparison, traditional completely-in-the-canal hearing aids purchased at conventional retailers can cost almost twice as much for a pair and last about the same length of time.
