“Is there a wire from the video cable that connects to the display reverse trigger wire? So that the camera will go in reverse when I shift it into reverse. Also why would relays be needed in some newer cars? Shouldn't I be able to tap reverse lights?”

• Relays are needed sometimes due to differences in power being run to the lights. Without the relay there is sometimes interference. This kit does not come with a relay, though. That has to be purchased elsewhere.

• Yes. for the rear view camera there is a red wire that you connect to your backup lights that activate the rear view camera

• Yes, there is a wire. I’m not sure, but you may have to buy it separately I don’t have an answer for the second part of your question
