Great question! Your ecobee will connect to your local weather station to help determine if it needs to run sooner with Smart Recovery enabled. You can also use the AC Overcool Max feature to help control humidity. Learn more about this feature, here: https://support.ecobee.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000268887-How-to-use-AC-Overcool-Max-to-reduce-humidity
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As far as I know Ecobee does not have a humidity probe. It does show Humidity % on display. Additonal sensors can connect to Ecobee, so ot may be possible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Call Ecobee support directly, they are quite knowable and will get your thermostat working properly. Ecobeelite 3 also has a preheat, and precool function. Humidity check is also an available feature.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure if you could wire the probe up, but the ecobee uses local weather data in some of its logic. You can also set a preferred humidity range, and the ecobee does kick on the A/C to bring humidity down. It's fully customizable, so you can have it maintain humidity very aggressively, or more passively. If you have an integrated humidifier, I believe ecobee is able to manage that independently as well.
