“I have my ecobee set on auto for heat at 5 minutes an hour. It runs longer than 5 minutes. Help!!”

• Do you actually have it set for 5 min an hour or 5 minutes minimum per hour? Also, The preferences have other settings that can override the Settings you are talking about in order to not cause damage to your HVAC system. Like a minimum run time setting for the fan, and minimum runtime for the heat. take a look at all the preference settings to see if it is overriding some of your other settings.
