• The thermostat comes with labels you can place on the wires as you disconnect them from the existing thermostat. There’s also diagrams in the documentation that shows how to hook it up in different configurations. I recommend that you snap a picture of your existing connections before you begin. Note that the thermostat requires a power wire. In some cases you need to make a modification to supply power if your existing wiring doesn’t support it. If you have a power wire, installation is a simple DIY project.
