I don’t think this feature is available now. Since there is no battery backup in the thermostat, if there is a power outage, thermostat will get switched off. Once the power is on, I think we have to set the temperatures again. It won’t remember the old settings.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can configure temperature alerts. I did so and it work once but never again. I wouldn't rely on this for alerting in its present form.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The ecobee can optionally email you for HVA Maintenance Reminder Air Handler Filter Reminder UV Lamp Reminder Low Temperature Alert High Temperature Alert Low Humidity Alert High Humidity Alert If the power goes out it can't send. If the power came back up and the temperature were too low it would alert you as above. It does not call or text.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it does not call with a power outage. There are notifications when the temperature gets above or below certain temperatures. There are batteries inside the thermostat, but if your WIFI is not on backup battery, the Ecobee won't be able to notify you since the Ecobee does not have cellular capabilities.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It won't call you but it will sound an alert on the device and email you if you have email notifications set up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will notify you that the temperature is out of range but nothing if power is out or nor connected to WiFi.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The ecobee SmartThermostat with voice control requires constant power. If your power goes out, your ecobee will be offline.
