“How do I know how many “zones” I have in my house, I’m unaware of what a zone is. I have a single story 1900 square feet newer home built in 2020. Do you know many zones I might have? Thank you”

The zones are determined by the open spaces that you can cover with one sensor. For example you kitchen and family room and eating area should be one zone

If you only have one zone (thermostat), you may want to get more sensors to make sure you are heating and cooling appropriately sections of the house.
