Please try again later.hi from what i can tell, the actual thermostat itself is the same and it comes packaged with the same stuff. it is the latest model (which would be the ecobee '5' if they kept going with numbers) with alexa/homekit/google/smartthings compatibility and with alexa actually built in with full functionality (the ecobee 4 didn't have all of the alexa functions). the PRO model can only be purchased by "professionals' like a/c installers. this is because ecobee offers the professionals training and support. also, if the 'PRO' thermostat is actually installed by a professional, then ecobee extends the warranty to 5 years (instead of 3 years). hope this helps :)
