“Can this be used with a Honeywell L8124A Triple Aquastat to control my oil fired boiler/furnace? My existing analog thermostat has only two wires going to the 2 terminals on the Aquastat.”

Should work just fine with the two wires. There’s advanced setting options that allows you to wire in such things
