I looked up the wattage hour draw of a sump pump and its about 600-1000 watts. The highest this generator can is 600 watts and it only can do 256 watts hour in total. So maybe it could run a 600 watt pump for like 25 mins. I'd suggest generator with bigger wattage capacity.

The AC output of River 2 is only 300W, so if the power wattage of your sump pump is over 300W, then it cannot be run up. And the surge power the sump pump is higher than its rated power wattage normally. The River 2 supports the EPS function.
