“Hello Ecovacs! In your instruction manual, it is mentioned to not remove the the mop pads in order to prolong the life of the mop pads. However, the mop pads cannot stay on when vacuuming the carpet, and they will be frequently removed. Suggestions?”

You can keep the mop pads off ALL the time if you want. If you have a house full of carpet, that’s what you would do anyway. Or, if you just want to vacuum, keep the mop pads off until you need them. I have a house full of tile, so I just keep it all together.
