• I use purified water, and they come out crystal clear!

• I would recommend using distilled water for this. When I made the spheres with our tap water, they were pretty cloudy.

• Typically, using filtered water (TDS<100) or purified water (like bottled water) will produce very clear ice. For perfectly clear spheres, boiling the purified water before making the ice can help.
