“This doesn't come w/ a subwoofer, does it have a bass sound? I like bass but i like to turn it off at times. I bought bose companions & they're great but my wife says she can hear the bass. It bugged her, so i bought cmputer speakers which i blewout”

These are comparable to the Bose companions except there are bass and treble controls so you can turn down the bass. I've owned both sets of speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.These speakers provide ample bass, but they do not rumble the floor. There is bass, treble, and cross over adjustment on the side of the speaker. They provide rich beautiful sound, using in my office. Try before adding a separate bass unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Doesn’t have a separate sub. There is a bass control knob that you can turn down (or up) separately though. They’re not too punchy with bass, but they’re pretty versatile because they have both a treble and bass knob.
