• A:Answer The R1280DB does NOT have a sub out. Nor does this R1380DB. If you want a sub out, you need the R1280DBs. So far, they haven't come out with a R1380DBs.

• A:Answer Yes, if you look at the photos that are on the product page the one that shows the back, it has a "COAX" output. Meaning, you can run a powered sub from that output.
