This eero, the 6 Extender, will not work by itself. An eero 6 Extender can only connect and extend an eero wifi network. If you have an eero (like an eero 6) hardwired to that AT&T modem it will, once it is setup, broadcast a wifi network. The eero 6 Extender can extend that wifi.
