No, you need 2 pods at minimum, one acts as the hub, another as the receiver for that signal from the hub

Please try again later.Hi Brian, yes, an Eero 6 can act as a wireless node if it is just plugged into power on the other side of the house, and it does not need an ethernet cable as long as there is already one Eero acting as the gateway that is wired to the modem. For best results place the powered Eero where it still gets a strong signal from the gateway, since a weak link will reduce speeds. Hope this helps!
