This will not increase the speed that Frontier DSL provides you. The 6 Mbps speed is the max they provide, it could go higher depending on what they give you. Buying an eero or any other mesh device allows you to get up to the speed Frontier provides now and down the road. If you have multiple devices, then this eero can help with reaching farther in your house. If you move, you can take it with you.
