“I have the eero mesh was wanting to put the eero 6 stand alone to add and make this one my router and have the original 3 the secondary is this possible or do I have to redo entire network or also have all eero 6”

Yes, you can replace your current gateway eero with this eero 6. That's what I have done, which was recommended by eero tech support. My other three eero's are eero pro's (2nd gen). I've had this setup for a couple weeks. So far, it works great.

If you are not connecting it to your modem you can still add it to expand the coverage of your existing network. Just follow the prompts in the eero app to add or replace a device.
