It is unlikely to. The way eero works is the primary/gateway eero is plugged into your internet source via ethernet. That gateway eero will create a wifi network. In this case the range is likely to be about the same as what you are getting now. Additional eero would be needed. Another eero would connect to the gateway eero (wired or wirelessly) and will broadcast the same wifi, extending your range. If you do want to try with one eero try one of the Pro models (eero Pro 6, Pro 6E, Max 7) as those have greater range than non-pro models.

This way one eero can replace your existing router and the other eero will be placed closer to your garage.
