• Just ac power. The head/gateway eero will need power as well as ethernet to the internet. Other eero on the network only need power.

• You have to provide power to the unit in addition to the ethernet cable. Once powered on, you have to configure the device via the eero app.

• Only Ethernet and download the app and you are all set. It is real easy to set up.
