I have my own modem/router which I plan to replace with a mesh (3 units) wi-fi router. Modem is not provided by my cable company so apparently I will need add one to attach to the router. My question is, does the router have a cabel to attach the modem? null

Yes.  It comes with a Ethernet cable.

Yes it does but u will need a modem from someone to attach to one of the mesh routers( nodes)….
