Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Each one of these eero will have two ethernet ports. For the head/gateway eero one of those ports will be used for the connection to the modem/internet. If you need to hardwire multiple devices/eero to that gateway eero you will need to use an unmanaged switch and use the topology modem->eero port 1, eero port 2->switch->other hardwired devices and eero. The other eero can connect to the gateway eero wirelessly and both of their ports will be available for use.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Each unit has 2 ethernet ports. The one you use as a gateway will have one port occupied by whatever input you use. So you can only attach 1 additional cable to it. The “extender” should be able to accommodate 2 ethernet cables, though I have not tested this.
