• Yes you can. An Echo is not needed to use eero at all. You do need a fairly recent smartphone to use the eero app (the eero app is used to setup and control the eero network, either an iOS device that has iOS 15 or later or an Android on Android 9 or later). You also need access to the internet via an ethernet port for one of the eero to be plugged into.
